This is the web page of our laboratory, a.k.a. Cancer Genomics and Bioinformatics. The lab was established in 2019 @ the Italian Institute for Genomic Medicine (IIGM), located within the Candiolo Cancer Institute FPO IRCCS (IT) and, from 2024, at the Department of Oncology and Hemato-Oncology of the University of Milan "La Statale".
Artenatively have a look here: C.G.B. @ IIGM
The lab follows three main directions
Deciphering RNA processing in disease
Assessing tumor genetics and evolution to faster precision oncology
Designing novel algorithms to gain information from genomic Big Data
The future is unwritten
The C.G.B. highlights
We are mote than pleased to be one of 26 laboratories from 12 institutions in the Milan area supporting the RNA salon , or meetings fully dedicated to discuss new findings on RNA biology and its future! The RNA salon will be the special chance for young scientists willing to contribute to this exciting field of research in the upcoming years! A special thanks to Ivano Legnini @ Human Technopole that made this possible!
We spent three days catching up on the spatial biology of cancer with top-notch scientists, early and late career ones. We learnt a lot about spatial omics, generative AI, and modern pathology. Great feeback from all partecipants. It was really a blast! Thanks to the best co-organizer Prof Francesca Ciccarelli and Prof Maria Secrier @ the Francis Crick Institute in London!
Really grateful to be part of this exciting and collaborative research on KRAS G12C adaptive resistance and therapy. Kudoz goes to Prof. Chiara Ambrogio and Prof. David Santamaria

We have open positions to work on RNA biology, RNA therapy, clonal evolution, and inherited predisositions in adult and pediatric cancers! If you are interested just reach me out at matteo.ceredaiigm.it!
